In August, I left my studio and traveled North.  I was heading to Telegraph Creek to hike the Raven’s Range, but lady luck took me to Prince Rupert instead.  My first day in Rupert, I was handed a job as well as a parcel in the rainforest to park my camper.

I brought 75 mugs with me on my journey.  The intent was a photo essay documenting the people that I met and bestowed pottery to. I did meet many wonderful people in my travels and I gave away all my mugs, but I did not take photos of people that often.  Bringing a camera into the equation took away from the generosity of my encounters.

I brought one salad bowl with me in my camper.  The bowl turned out to be a fun way to photograph and I am going to continue taking photographs of my pots outside of the confines of my studio.
